Stone Care
Enduring Beauty.
Effortless Engineering.
Trendstone surfaces are engineered for life. Follow these simple guidelines to keep your stone looking as pristine as the day it was installed.
01 / Daily Care
Everyday Cleaning
The Daily Routine
Use a soft microfibre cloth with warm water and pH-neutral soap. For most engineered stone surfaces, this is all you will ever need.
Stubborn Spills
For tougher stains, apply a non-bleach, non-abrasive liquid cleaner. Leave for 60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
What to Avoid
Never use harsh chemicals, paint removers, or products containing trichloroethane or methylene chloride. These can permanently damage the resin binder.
Never use

Finish-Specific Care
Polished Finish
- — Extremely dense and non-porous — bacteria and liquids cannot penetrate the surface.
- — Routine clean with warm water and mild soap restores full mirror-like shine.
- — No sealing required — ever. Surface protection is built in at manufacture.
- — Avoid abrasive scrubbing pads that may micro-scratch the polished layer.
Silk Finish
- — Refined low-sheen surface that repels liquids and stains without requiring any sealing — ever.
- — Clean with a soft microfibre cloth and warm water; the velvety texture restores its sheen instantly.
- — Requires soft cloths to preserve the velvety texture — avoid abrasive pads or rough cloths.
- — Exclusive to the Premium Collection — our most sophisticated engineered surface finish.
Leathered Finish
- — Textured "peaks and valleys" may collect fingerprints — wipe regularly with a damp cloth.
- — Use a soft-bristle brush or textured microfibre cloth for deep cleaning across the textured relief.
- — A pH-neutral stone cleaner is recommended for weekly care on the Lava Collection.
- — The matte appearance naturally masks minor wear — making it one of our most forgiving finishes.
The leathered finish is the signature of our Lava Collection — a surface born of geological texture that rewards a little extra care.

Common Questions
Trendstone surfaces are highly heat-resistant, but sudden extreme temperature changes — thermal shock — can stress any engineered stone. We recommend always using a trivet or heat pad as standard practice to protect both your stone and your cookware.
Recommendation: always use a trivet or heat pad
At Mohs 6, Trendstone is harder than your knives — which means blades will dull before the stone scratches. That said, extremely sharp ceramic or carbon-steel knives can leave faint marks under heavy pressure. Using a cutting board protects both the surface and your knife edges.
Recommendation: always use a cutting board
Act quickly. Apply a small amount of isopropyl alcohol or acetone on a clean white cloth and gently blot only the stained area. Rinse immediately and thoroughly with clean water and mild soap. Do not leave solvent on the surface for extended periods.
Act quickly — rinse with clean water immediately after
Safe products include mild dish soap, most glass cleaners (non-bleach formulas), and dedicated stone or quartz surface cleaners. Avoid anything with a pH above 10 or below 2, including oven cleaners, drain cleaners, concentrated bleach, battery acid, or paint remover.

No. Unlike natural marble or granite, Trendstone engineered quartz is non-porous by construction — water absorption is below 0.02%. There is no need to seal the surface at installation, or at any point during its entire lifetime. This is one of the key maintenance advantages over natural stone.
Zero sealing required — ever
